Raul Lopez Echeverria

After completing his film studies at University of Guadalajara, Raul Lopez Echeverria specialized in Screenwriting and Editing at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografía (CSC), Rome, Italy. His most recent project is a fiction feature film Domingo, premiered at the Shanghai International Film Festival, was selected for Industry Selects at the Toronto International Film Festival and won a Mayahuel at the Guadalajara International Film Festival. Since 2010, he has been teaching Film Directing at the Department of Image and Sound, University of Guadalajara, Mexico. Chair of CIBA (CILECT Ibero-American Regional Association, 2018-2024; 2024-present).
